AN ICONIC LOCATION
Walk of Fame Media Ltd have joined forces with the owners of the iconic ‘Brighton Palace Pier to establish the ‘Brighton Music Walk of Fame as a permanent ‘free to view’ cultural attraction paying tribute to the many musicians, artists, composers and DJ’s closely associated with the city & Sussex from the early sixties to present day. Brighton Palace Pier is an internationally recognised iconic attraction, one of Britain’s most famous historic coastal landmarks receiving in excess of 5 million visitors each year and voted the most visited FREE attraction in the country outside of London. Official figures release by Visit England showed that only the British Museum, National Gallery, Tate Modern and Natural History Museum attracted more visitors.

Following a public vote we are delighted to announce those being recognised on the Brighton Music Walk of Fame will include:

The new inductees will be added to the Brighton Music Walk of Fame in time for the celebration induction event on Wed 10th July 2019 on Brighton Palace Pier.

From 10th July 2019 all the inductee plaques become even more interactive using the free to download Brighton Music Walk of Fame dedicated mobile app. With each plaque incorporating visual scan codes the Walk of Fame will come to life to become delivering users a unique experience linking each plaque to the featured artists related digital content and information. This interaction has made Brighton Palace Pier the first digitally interactive Pier in the UK.
The BMWF has a dedicated presence on the Visit Brighton APP and website to provide further information about the Walk and its location.
‘AR’ (Augmented Reality) will be added to the plaques later in 2018 which will allow visitors to reveal additional exciting hidden content related to each inductee.
Teenage Cancer Trust is the official affiliated charity of the BMWF. A percentage from funds received will be donated to the charity who are developing a local specialist Nursing and Support Service and improved local facilities for young people from Brighton so they don't have to face cancer alone.
